Sprinkler head problems
I have two heads on my sprinkler system that appear to look fine. After 1 minute they seem to be leaking underneath the soil. The power and pressure is fine coming out of the sprinkler though. It seems there is a leak somewhere underground but the pressure is great coming out of the head. What should be my first step. Can't afford the 200 the local company will chafe me to take a look.
Dig up the sprinkler. Turn the sprinkler off at the nozzle if possible. Turn the water on and see where it's leaking. Repair.
Call around and get quotes over the phone. 200's probably a tad high.
Take a picture and we will tell you how to fix it.
