Go to www.tinypic.com. Upload your pic there then cut and paste the "forum" code to your post. Then I can help you.

You wont find a rebuild kit for that valve. It's a crappy valve anyway. Just replace the whole black part.

What's the valve doing or not doing? Maybe the screw that holds the seat washer in place broke off. If so, flush it out.

Just unscrew the cap in pic two then unscrew the whole black part. Buy the appropriate sized valve adapter and replace. It looks like a 1" but verify. It's a 5 minute job. Just be careful while unscrewing not to break the plastic pipes underneath. Use two wrenches.
There will be a float under that cap with a rubber washer on it. If the washer's ok, leave it alone. Sometimes you can take it off and flip it so it's clean like a new washer. Or you can buy a float kit to replace the whole thing.

Here's what you need, valve.

It says 1" on that cap but that doesn't mean the adapter's 1". Could be 3/4. The pipes below make it look like 3/4. Either take it with you to an irrigation supply store or post another pic showing the threads of the valve adapter after you unscrew it.

That's a 1" all the way around. Nice pics.
