Dallas Drip Irrigation- Do I need to blowout for the winter?

We just moved from Colorado this summer. I am new to both Drip irrigation and milder winters... I just installed some Drip irrigation, so do,we need to blow it out for the winter here in Dallas? My 1/2" poly lines are not buried, but just under some cedar mulch. I was not sure if that was enough protection from freezing or not? We always blew out our systems in CO with compressed air in mid October and never really started them up until May, so I am in a whole new world here.

Thanks for any help
