Zone 4 has intermittent pressure drop

Hi All,

I left for a week on vacation after replacing the solenoid on zone 5 of my 11 zone system and my front lawn (zones 8-11) was dying. I found out that when zone 4 starts up the pressure drops intermittently, causing my sprinklers to come on full blast and then drop back into the ground for the duration of the run. This occurs on the remaining zones with only zones 5 and 6 having enough pressure to actually do the job (though not very well).

I have replaced the solenoid and diaphragm on zone 4 expecting that to solve the problem. It has not. If I go to each of my valves, I can manually bypass and zones 4-7 work perfectly without pressure issues. Unfortunately since we moved into this house I cannot find the valves for zones 8-11, which very well may be under a berm, so I cannot bypass the issue and continue watering my lawn.

I don't want to pay a sprinkler repair guy for a $20 fix because I know it'll cost me over $200 to do so. I also don't want to continue to have to use my kids' water snake sprinkler to water my lawn (HOA likely does not approve).

Anyway, Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help!
