Sprinkler system hiccup (Stutter)

I have 6 zones in my yard. One of the zones' water is coming out of the system as like it is stuttering. I can hear the sprinkler head making noise like an electrical noise like it is disrupted somehow and so the water sprays for 1 second next second it stops and it goes on like that.

What is the reason for this? How do we fix this? It seems like it is an electrical issue?

I'm not sure what you're hearing at the sprinkler head but I doubt it's an electrical noise.
Try this. Move the wire on the controller of the problem valve to a station that you know works. Does it still do it?
I've only seen this a handful of times and as far as I can remember it was always the timer. RainDials.
There might have been a bad solenoid one time but I really can't remember. Was 20 years ago on that one.
Check at the valve to see if you can hear the solenoid opening and closing. Click click click.
