Pump accidentally ran

I live in Michigan and on Christmas Day I had at least 6" of snow on the ground. I lost power a couple days earlier and when it came back it rest my controller. When I left for church I noticed that my sprinkler pump was on and had been running for about an hour and a half. When I noticed it, water was shooting out of the pump (I think it was from where the water area bolts to the motor). I'm thinking it ran 3 zones. Is there anything I should do now? How do I tell if my pump is cracked or just needs to be resealed? Do I need to blow the lines out again? I know where the heads are so I can shovels the snow off from them to blow it out. If I need to blow it out again, do I need to gave a company do it or will my home air compressor work?

Just duplicate what you did when the system was winterized before.

Lesson learned. Cut the power to the pump when you close the system for the winter.
