Early morning watering with light frost?

This is my first fall/winter with irrigation. My lawn looks great from Sept. seeding. I currently have my irrigation running at 5am every 3 days. The weather in NC is currently dropping into the mid-low 30s at night creating a light frost. I know that I shouldn't water with a freeze on the lawn, but does watering on a light frost damage the grass?
