Replacing my Intermatic T8845PV timer with digital

I want to replace my Intermatic timer (T8845PV) with a RainBird ESP-RZX. Small yard with four (4) zones. One valve (1).
Is that a good choice? I need to add the rain sensor (required in South Florida). It looks fairly straight forward but thought I might ask you professionals for your opinion. Thanks much for any input.

Your controller choice must have a programmable time delay between zones. And obviously, you must be running on city water for the replacement to make economic sense, since the new controller cannot directly power a pump.
