Sprinkler runs even the controller is OFF

I have 8 zones out of which zone 1,2 and 3 starts running immediately when I open the water valve of the irrigation system, even the controller is off. I have checked the controller to make sure all the zones are turned off.

little history of the system. Recently, I have replaced the valve for zone 7 & 8 as they were not functioning properly and both the zones are for the drip. After I replace them I am experiencing the above described problem.

Any advise is appreciated.

The next step would be to remove all chance of zones activating from the controller, before next turning on the supply valve. You could pull the plug, or disconnect the common wire(s) on the controller.

If the problem valves haven't stopped operating even when you know for a fact that they are not powered, then you have a mechanical problem in the valves.
