I have a drip system installed beneath weed barrier and rock, around a topiary bush and a small tree. Due to valve issue, soil became saturated. System has been off for several days, but every morning there is a large area around the plant and tree where the rock is wet. The soil at base of plant and tree is dry. Why does rock become wet overnight.
I am desperate for an answer. Direct email answer would be appreciated.
