sprinkler pump tripping breaker as soon as it turns on

hi, my sprinkler pump trips breaker as soon as its turned on. it was working fine before, can someone help?

You may have a bad start capacitor in the pump motor. Your breaker may be getting weak. You may have a short in your high voltage wiring of the pump. The breaker maybe sized to small. The motor itself may be worn out.

You could take the pump to an electric motor repairman who can test the motor.
