When swapping spray nozzles to Toro, might you need to change height of sprinkler?

Hi, my sprinkler guy simply swapped my old lawn spray nozzles to Toro, in order to save water during California drought; now I have very specific dry patches and it seems to me as a layperson that the sprinkler head height seems to be too low in those near the dry patches. Is this a common experience with a simple swap of nozzles?

Can you supply more detail on the nozzles specifically employed? Brand name alone means nothing.
