Connecting 1" PEX to 3/4" copper water line
I'm getting ready to cut into my main line (3/4 Cu) in my basement and my plan is to connect 1" PEX to run through ceiling of my basement to get to exterior wall. I want to use 1" PEX to I don't lose any flow... it's about a 50' line to my wall. I can't seem to find a fitting that connects the two pipes. Is that because there is something wrong with this concept? Thoughts? Recommendations on where to find a fitting if it is a good idea? Thanks!
is it a problem if it took a combination of two fittings for the transition? It isn't like there's any money to be saved.
That's what my local plumbing supply store had for an option, and I did buy those parts. I guess as long as the concept is ok (upsizing to PEX) I'm happy to move forward.
