PVC or POLY ???
Hey guys I"m installing my VERY FIRST sprinkler system, different contractors tell me different things about what they use and why ? can you tell me which is better for my system ? PVC or Poly pipes ?
thank you in advance
This is a personal preference, they both have their pros and cons. PVC is generally used in non freezing climates, whereas poly pipe is generally used in freezing climates. If you already have a lawn established, I would suggest poly pipe, it is a cleaner install which eliminates trenching (because the poly pipe is pulled into the ground) and generally lasts longer than PVC in my opinion.

they are both OK poly is easier to use as it is in rolls.
