I must replace TORO Flo-Pro Series valve (280-06-14)which uses a 3-wire solenoid. (Station wire and common wire on one side of solenoid and a common wire on the other side which connects between valves in a series)
All new valves I find use a 2-wire system.
1. Are there any brand of valves on the market that use 3-wire?
2. Is there a way to use a 2-wire valve in a 3-wire system?
As Boots has stated, any two wire solenoid valve will be compatible. All you will have to do is connect the common wire to your other common wires from the other solenoids.

Its not any better to have three wires rather than the normal two. It will use more water tight connections and will give you more areas to check if there is a problem.
