schedule 40 pvc tap
I need some advice on how to tap 3/4 inch pvc lateral line for adding another sprinkler head. In my area the town prefers schedule 40 for all water lines. I am trying to avoid digging too much of the line for a slip x slip tee. I bought some blazing saddle tees but the pipe is too thick and the stem won't penetrate the pipe. is there any other tap that will work for this procedure. How much pipe will i need to dig up if i am forced to use a slip x slip tee. Can a person use a compression tee in this situation thank you for your help!
you need a 3/4" slip fix repair coupler
dewayn,
I would just dig and do it right... I have found the shortcutting saves time now but will always cause more problems later and you will have to fix it at the worst possible time. My advice cut the line and put in a proper T on it... In this case you will only dig once...
Thanks
