Frustrated.. Help !

OK.. My property is 40 by 100. The house is 50x25.

We have 50 -60 PSI of water pressure and a 4 zone unit.

In theback yard, we do not seem to be getting full coverage. Not sure why... the thrid head on the line seems to have under 10 PSI by the time water gets to it.

The system he is installing is a Toro System. He is using funny pipe for the entire system. I read that Toro suggests you only use funny pipe within 4 ft of the spray heads. The local supply house told my installer that he could use it for the entire system. Could this be causing the problem ??? I the funny pipe diameter and the joints and issue for flow ?

HELP ! I am getting nervous now....

Stop the installation work. Nothing smaller than 3/4" pipe should be used with rotor heads. Funny pipe is okay to connect a head to the regular pipe, but no more. (In certain circumstances, mostly retrofit work, funny pipe might feed more than one small capacity head [but not multiple rotors]) - What state is this work taking place in? I hope there is backflow prevention in place.

If your contractor is installing funny pipe for your main lateral lines for your sprinklers, you need to stop work ASAP and go over the entire installation. Better check the plumbing from your POC (Point of Connection) all the way out. Like Wetboots said, I hope there is a backflow device installed. For the pressure, I would be installing at least 1" line for your sprinklers. You can come off of that line with your funny pipe to your sprinkler heads, but DO NOT use funny pipe for the entire system. Time to have a sit down with your contractor.
