Adding drip irrigation to sprinkler head

Hi,

I have a sprinkler system using Rainbird risers and spray heads to irrigate my yard. In one area close to the house, a riser waters several large shrubs. Since we have synthetic stucco and I am concerned about excess water splashing in this area, I was wondering whether a drip style irrigator can be attached to the riser and laid at the base of the shrubs. It sound feasible to me, but I haven't seen anything like this described on the web.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil-
Rain-Bird and a few other companies make what is called a manifold for drip systems. It basically screws onto your riser and has a number of outputs on it which you can run individual drip lines to each plant. http://www.rainbird.com/Shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=22&subcat=121&cat=Fittings%2C+Stakes+and+Other&L2=Tubing+and+Fittings&L3=Fittings%2C+Stakes+and+Other
you might try that link at Rain-Birds website for an idea of what I am
talking about.
