Maybe buy valves with flow controls and replace all the working parts including the bonnet.

Yeah, someone also suggested replacing merely the top part of the valve with all the main components so as to not have to replace the entire unit.

I'll pick one of those up and see how it goes.

Edit: It worked! Replacing the main valve components (except the solenoid, which I didn't touch) fixed the problem. Thanks for the help and suggestions!
