sprinkler head...nothing

Hello, In my backyard there are two sprinklers on the same zone. One works great, the other is an older brass Champion head that used to work but now doesn't even dribble. Today I changed the Champion head but still there is no spray. I thought maybe a leak somewhere but if so why does the other sprinkler on the same programmed area valve works great?
I shoved a screwdriver down the line but it seems to hit solid plastic about 8" down so I don't think there is a clog. Any ideas?

Never mind I solved it and I'm too embarrassed to say how.
