Copper pipe Sprinkler Main needs replaced

How do you get the pipe out of the foundation wall? I have cut pipe on both sides of wall. I assume sealant has been put around pipe on both sides of wall when it was installed. I have tried to turn/loosen pipe. Tap it out with wood block and hand sledge. None has budged pipe. House was built 18 years ago and sprinkler system was put in when house was built.

Suggestions.

Thanks

Sam

First off, what happened that you had to do this work?

Second, you should consider just sealing up what remains of the old pipe, and selecting a new exit point for the sprinkler plumbing.

Copper pipe Sprinkler Main needs replaced

I am not sure what caused the leak. I have been told it could be the house foundation has settled on pipe. It does appear the outside of house part pipe has been bent down somewhat may be from dirt settling. Could improper blowing out of system for winterization caused break? I have a back flow preventer.

Thanks
