I have a 2 3 valve manifoldsystem which totals 6valves and 6zones my problem is all zones can be started at the manifold but no 4 zone will not come on with the controller Is a doubler a good alternative?

Have you diagnosed the problem as to why #4 doesn't come on?

For me a doubler is a last resort option.

Assuming you're in Minneapolis? Doublers have caused more mainline damage in Minnesota than anything else. Forget that the doubler is there and that zone doesn't get winterized. Bad news!

thanks. good point can I run a single wire from vaive 4to my controller to check if there is a broken line?

We missed the part where you made electrical tests on the system wiring, using a multimeter.

YouTube how to troubleshoot sprinkler electrical system. Get a multimeter and report back.
