The toro multistream...I.E. 300 series heads are great for areas that need to take on water SLOWLY...
As for them being higher maintenance, I don't believe that to be entirely true. The beauty of the 300 series, in my opinion, is twofold.
1 - set it and forget it.....will not come out of adjustment if installed properly. Bad news is, no adjustments can be made to their arc at all....very specific arcs.
2- They look COOL when they run! Very graceful.
I believe Hunter used to make a stream rotor....don't know if still in production.
