No clamp is needed with funny pipe fittings. I use it all of the time and never had any problems

I install funny pipe on 9 out of 10 fittings, with no clamps, and over here we have 95+ psi, and 15+ GPM and i have yet to have a problem. Just make sure the funny pipe is over the elbow all the way. Im not exactly sure what keeps it from blowing apart but something does.
