Hunter PGP 12 in pop up Rotor

I have a need for a pop-up rotor that is high enough to shoot over one of my lower shrubs. Over the years, I installed two rotors for this same application; however, in both instances, the rotors extend approximately 12-18" from the ground (even when off). I would like to know whether the Hunter PGP 12 in pop up rotor is designed the same way (extending above ground when off), or is it designed to be installed flush with the ground when not in use?

Pop ups pop up. When system is off it's flush to the ground.

Your old ones might just be on risers to add height.
