all six stations come on at the same time

Have Hunter Pro-C controller, Toro/Flo-Pro solenoids that twist on/off. When the system comes on, all six stations come on.

Sounds like whoever winterized your system left them all turned on

Make sure the solenoids are tight ( Just twist with you hand untill it's taught you don't need to crank on it)
If if has a bleed screw / switch Make sure the bleed screws are turned off
