No water flow in home when pump supported sprinkler system is operating

We just installed a sprinkler system with 4 zones and approximately 8 heads on each. We purchased a 1 hp pump and relay switch to boost water pressure because we are in the country with a rural water supply. We tested pressure before installing the system and the average of three readings was approximately 45 GPM. The system operates great. We have full head to head coverage with only one problem...When the pump is running there is no water in the house. What could be the problem?? ?(

You can rework the plumbing so that the pump boosts pressure for the entire house, including a pressure switch and a pressure tank large enough to prevent cycling of the pump when the indoor water use is low. The relay would no longer be needed.
