Main valve activates all valves at the same time.

Where is the water coming from for the sprinklers? City water? Well water? Lake water? Other? I guess I'm asking if there's a pump involved.

Hunter XC date resetting

The lithium battery remembers the date. Try replacing it. It's #15 on Page 1. With that said, there's another problem somewhere causing the issue. Maybe the transformer wire is loose. Maybe there's a problem with the outlet. Maybe the transformer's plugged into the same outlet or circuit as the washing machine. Maybe a faulty solenoid but since it also does it without the sprinklers running I'd rule the solenoid out for now.

Main valve activates all valves at the same time.

I can think of a couple of things. Maybe all of the bleeder screws are open or all of the solenoids are loose. It could be that the mainline between the master valve and the zone valves loses all pressure between watering cycles due to a faulty valve. So none of the valves are able to stay closed. Then when it's time to water the 7 valves can't shut off all at once. Well 6 of the 7. The one valve is supposed to be on. Maybe turn the flow controls down as far as you can with the valve still funct...

How much should this repair cost?

Where I live the prices vary wildly. And the quality of work does as well. I can't say from here what work needs to be done or how much it will cost. But for 1000 bucks I can do a ton of work. I suggest you get more estimates. Try to use a sprinkler repairman. Not a landscaper or gardener or plumber. Make sure he has experience. < That doesn't mean much sometimes. There's a guy in town been doing it for 30 years and it some crappy work to boot. I just did a job on Monday he couldn't. The lady sa...

Low Pressure

Is your water city water or do you have a pump? Could be all the nozzle filters are clogged. Could be a main filter is clogged. If you're on city water I'd suspect the valve. Probably the diaphragm.

Short radius I20 vs PGJ

I'd put a sprinkler at 2:30 pm of that top arc. I see a brown spot happening there.

Two of six zones not functioning

Did you turn on valves 5 and 6 manually to see what they do? By opening the bleeder screw or turning the solenoid counter clockwise? Some valves have a little lever on the back below the solenoid. A picture would help. Go to www.timypic.com, upload your pic there then cut n paste the "forum" code to your post. Maybe the flow controls are turned all the way off. Maybe the valves are broken and can't come on. Are the wires color coded? Like a green and yellow wire for 5 and 6? Are they the same at...

Can I add a six valve manifold to an existing three valve manifold?

Thanks Boots, you're right. I read this in the text, "Flexible design: Modular model offers 4 - 16 stations, or choose fixed 6 or 12 station models" and I thought I was on the right page. Been working my ass off in this heat. Was 115 on last Friday.

Can I add a six valve manifold to an existing three valve manifold?

Or you could buy a controller from the site that owns this forum. Hunter Pro-C, and add a 3 station expansion module making it a 9 station controller.

Sprinkler turned on for 10 minutes when the system off

Is the timer plugged in? Unplug it until you're ready to use your sprinklers again. If it happens again then the valve needs attention. The water's obviously back on. Sometimes a gardener will fiddle with things. Maybe it was never shut off, you just thought it was.

rain bird 900in SST

Maybe it's stuck. Some kind of glitch. If you can't figure it, do a factory reset. That's clear out all the programming and you can start over.

Give it a shot. Looks like it'll fit. And yes, 3/4 and 1" are the same tops.

Try pushing the button that says 1st time. That should automatically turn off the second watering time.

entire zone with new heads that won't pop up without help

I can't make any guarantees from here. I'd buy the new PGV with flow control and swap out all the parts. That valve is extremely easy to rebuild. If it doesn't fix the problem then oh well. You've gained some experience fixing your valves and you have a rebuilt valve. You can get one from our site. I posted the link earlier or order one from Home Depot or go to a local Irrigation supply store. They'll have it. They're cheap enough. You could try taking the solenoid all the way off. That will rel...

entire zone with new heads that won't pop up without help

I'm not a big fan of valves without flow controls. If I was you I'd buy a Hunter PGV and swap out all the parts. If the valve comes on full force when you open the bleeder screw then you know there's something wrong with the valve. This isn't a tell all, it's just a test. Even if the valve shows no difference doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with the valve. If you have a hose bib near by you can attach a pressure tester to it. Turn on the other valves one at a time. Note the pressure loss. The...

entire zone with new heads that won't pop up without help

Turning the solenoid isn't the same as opening the bleeder screw. At this time I'd say there's either a leak somewhere or the valve isn't coming on all the way. What model valve is it?

Can't seem to get my Toro Greenkeeper 212 Program C to go on automatically

Look on page 8 of the manual. You should set it on 2 to run ever other day. You also need a start time or C wont run. Just one start time unless you want to water twice. One start time on A, one on B and one on C. The day of the week should be set automatically when you plug in the date I believe.
