RainBird Maxi Paw Sticking..please help or advise

Hi there, Let me start by saying that i ran across this site when doing some searching on rainbird products...Awesome and very helpful, maybe i can get some help from you folks. This was done last year for a bargain, but i was not pleased with the results. I'll give you a fast run down on the specs. for my sprinkler system.

1. My service line from the house is 1" to the Valve Manifold, all my pvc pipe is 1" as well with 3/4" risers that connect the Maxi paw sprinkler heads to the main line. I used 1 1/4 pvc pipe for the furthest zone. There are currently 5 zones.

2. The water pressure is approx. 31-33 PSI with a well being the source of water. These numbers are constant when any given zone is on according to the water gauge thats on the line coming from the ground (pump).

3. The person who installed it put in 3 zones with 7 heads on two zones and 8 in one. I was only getting Approx 23 PSI of presure. I decided i would reduce the birds per section last weekend and did, now i have 4 with 5 birds and 1 with 6. Like i said i have around 33 PSI of pressure now. Im still having the problem with some (a few) of my sprinkler heads getting stuck to one side and not rotating.

Its not as bad now.....but im afraid to leave the sprinkler system unattended just incase i have to tap on one sprinkler head that got stuck, which defeats the purpose of me buying electric valves and a timer. Can anybody suggest or advise me on what to possibly do to remedy this problem...? Any and all comments, advice, suggestions welcomed.
