My advice is, you can't fix the valve if you don't know where it is.
A tool like this could come in very handy in your situation.

If you know where all the valves are then identifying the zones is easy.
If you don't know where they are you need to get a valve locator . Very easy to use.
Could be numerous reasons. First and cheapest step it to find the valve, disassemble and clean.

It's hard to tell why your valve is on. Do you have the make and model of the valve?
It's rarely the solenoid and rarely debris. They both do happen though.
Could be a hole in the diaphragm.. Could be the seat washer came off, which usually happens on valve adapters more than inlines..
There are many specific reasons for specific valves...
Make and model please...
Could be the timer...

What is wrong in the sprinkler system

I turned on the sprinkler system recently. Everything works fine except the valve for one zone is on all the time even when the system is off. I am totally new to sprinkler systems and looking for any fix to it.

After doing some research, I expected either the valve is not clean or the need to replace the solenoid.

Could anyone know the reason?

Also is there a way to identify the valve for each zone?

The timer is Hunter SRC 600i but I don't know the brand name for the valves.
I think I can trace back the wires in order to know which valve for each zone.
Any idea or advice?
