It sounds like there's a problem with the valve. Could be the diaphragm fell apart or the seat washer came/broke off.

One zone problem

We just noticed that one zone isn't working. On three of the sprinker heads there is a small amount of water bubbling out, but on the rest of them there is nothing. The zone is in our flower beds, and are all comprised of tall risers. Any ideas? We have determined it is not a problem with the box because manually turning the zone on doesn't work either, and since water is coming up out of a few of the sprinker heads, that makes me think it's not electrical. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
