Those fittings are junk, you are better off going with barbed fittings and funny pipe. Also known as Flex Pipe found here and the barbed fittings found here .
Those pre-made, fittings are prone to leaks.

Thanks, I guess that would be the most cost effective solution. I don't get why the original contractor used all these leaky fittings. Quite terrible and a waste of water.

Sprinkler Heads leaking underground

Looks like I have a couple of leaks under sprinkler heads as I've noticed pools of water when running. Upon digging up the sprinklers, I've discovered that two 90 degree elbows are used as "risers" that attach to the sprinkler heads. What's the proper solution?


One can not fully tighten these elbows and align it such that the sprinkler heads are standing straight up and not at an angle. ?(
