No affordable 'pro' timer exists for what you want. You are dealing with the home centers, if you want something like you describe.

A basic timer

Is there an electic timer that you can have control your garden hose, or the faucet outside? Maybe this seems silly, but instead of putting in a whole sprinkler system, I'm just looking to water a small area and thought I'd take a chance and ask. Thanks for your help.[8D]
