Nelson programming question

I replied to another topic, so this a duplicate.

I have a 1999 Nelson EZ-something controller, with programs A B and C. Are these completely separate programs, or do they all run if I have the selector on C (would all three programs be active). Should I be using these to run different zones on different days, then leave it on C?
