I don't see a reason that would would need another master valve for your system, that is just going to cause more issues if something goes wrong. As long as you tie into your mainline for your new zones after your existing Master Valve, you shouldn't need to be installing another one.

main valve

i am adding onto my existing sprinkler system and i am going to need about 30 more heads. what i was wondering is do i need another master valve or more wires for it. i had an irrigation guy come out and give me a quote and he thought we might need another 1. thanks BJ
