Why not give your XP computer a dual-boot capability with Windows 98? Then you can run the old Hunter application.
By the way, is there some difficulty involved in your manually programming a controller? It certainly isn't difficult. Is there something else you are trying to achieve? Something you haven't mentioned yet?
It is now almost a year later. Are there any controllers on the market that work with Windows XP? How about X-10?
You don't even want to think about adding the IMMS software to your residential system, it would not be worth the cost. The IMMS system is well over $1,000. I have the SRP kit on my truck laptop which I purposely have Windows 98 on so it will run the software, unfortunatly they won't upgrade to XP.

The SRP Kit only works with Windows 95 and Windows 98. It will not work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Hunter has no plans to ever upgrade the software to allow use with Windows 2000 or XP. Sprinkler Warehouse called and pleaded with Hunter to reconsider, however, Hunter replied with a firm No the SRP Kit will not be upgraded.
Sprinkler Warehouse is currently looking to add a new internet enabled controller to their inventory. Check www.sprinklerwarehouse.com often as they will be adding one as soon as they find it.
