You might do just as well to buy a new GT20 and sell the old pump to partially cover the cost.[/quote

I was thinking the same. Thoughts on a good price for a 1 yo pump?

Goulds GT15 to GT 20

Hello,

I have a Goulds GT 15 and would like to modify it to a GT20. Is this possible?

From what I have found the 15 and 20 have all the same parts except the impeller and the motor.

Is this the correct motor, AO Smith ST 1202? It is listed on the lockwell site as a replacement part for the GT 20 and the specs appear to match.

Thanks in advance for any assistance, it is greatly appreciated.
