True........after i completly rid all the water from my system....i havent yet run into a priblem with the backflow device
Some people remove their back flow devise by using unions and replace it with pvc connected to unions for the winter. It is very important that after it is removed that the systems shut off valve is closed.
if you completeley winterize and blow out all the water from the backdlow, and there will be no need to wrap. If you want to wrap im not sure what you would do...but wrapped or not you have to blow it out any way[8D]
