Set the fixed side to the edge of the sidewalk or curb, wherever they are at and adjust them so the adjustable side touches the side of the sidewalk/curb.

How far behind a 180 degree sprinkler head will water cover? Or, can you adjust a 180 degree sprinkler head to, say, 220 degrees (in order to cover a small area behind the sprinkler head? My concern is that I cannot place the sprinkler line right at the edge of my property, but I'm wondering if there is a way to put it 18-24 inches from the edge, and still get good coverage. Thanks in advance
