According to the manual there's a built in memory that's good for 24 hours. After that the memory is lost.
Here's the manual.
Search for the word "memory" in the manual and you'll find several references to it.

Where is the battery please?

We have 2 controllers Iritroll KD9 and KD12. One is fine and the other keeps loosing it's memory when the power goes off. Have searcede high and low for the back up battery that must be flat....can anyone help with that please?
