new controller

My old controller died. It was a Richdel 8 zone model 508PR. This model also has a pump wire connection along with the zone wires and common wires. I replaced it with a Hunter 9 zone SRC Plus, and I notice no place to connect the pump wire. The manual shows that it can be connected to a seperate pump start relay. Do I need to purchase one of the pump start relays or is there a place on this controller to connect the pump wire? The directions are a little unclear.
