The only way I can turn the zone off is the shut off the water. I have a Hunter 600i controller and hunter srv valve. How do I get the zone to shut off.
Clean the valve it now shuts off thanks

I agree. I am amazed that small pebbles and sand gets into our systems and cause valve problems. So common in areas with new consruction, that I place brass strainers on all new installations.
Frustrating problem, Hope you get it fixed.
Or, if you don't find anything inside the valve, rplacing the diaphram and solenoid has also worked for me. BUT, try the Mr.FixIt suggestion first.
Jeff
wont shut off
If disconnecting the wire from that zone doesn't shut off the valve then the problem is at the valve. Take the top half of the valve off and see what's going on inside. Look for debris and see if there's something wrong with the diaphragm.
